Katia Hughes (she/they) was first introduced to partner dancing in 2019 when they discovered Lindy Hop and quickly fell in love with connecting with others through dance. Since then, Katia has dabbled in many other social dance styles including Contact Improvisation, Blues, Kizomba, and Salsa, but none have captured her heart quite like West Coast Swing did in 2024. As Pro Liaison, Katia is excited to support the Swing in Bloom team and to help connect the local dance community with professional dancers from around the world.
