Hugo (he/him) and Stacy (she/her) are a dynamic West Coast Swing duo who have been captivating audiences since 2012. Hugo, originally from Hialeah, Florida, began his dance journey with Salsa and Hip-Hop before finding his passion for West Coast Swing, where he became a renowned instructor and performer. Stacy, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, transitioned from gymnastics to competitive solo dance and is known for her elegance, creativity, and musicality in the swing community.
Together, they form a powerful partnership, blending their unique styles into a captivating and innovative dance experience. As instructors and choreographers, they’ve impacted the global dance community and opened District Dance Academy in Largo, Florida in 2018, where they mentor over 300 weekly dancers. Their achievements include top placements at The Open and Hugo ranking as the 3rd highest Jack & Jill leader in the champions division.
