Attila (he/him) started dancing at the age of 15. After completing all the classes his dancing school in Vienna had to offer, he became interested in dance sports and started competing in International Latin American style. After several years of practising and ups and downs on the competition floor he has reached the highest division โS - Classโin Austria. Attila was a registered athlete of the World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF) and until 2022 he represented Austria at International Latin dance sport competitions.
In 2017 Attila was introduced to West Coast Swing and instantly fell in love with the dance. The ability to improvise and interpret music spontaneously was something he always felt was lacking in the ballroom dances. Filled with motivation, he started competing in WCS at his first event and reached the All-Star division 2.5 years later. His love for all the aspects of this dance has been growing ever since and WCS has become the main focus of his dancing career. He never misses out on a chance to social dance, so he usually sleeps during the day at events.
On his journey as a dancer Attila has worked with many international top teachers and coaches and trained in other dance styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Lindy Hop, Ballet, etc. He is always eager to broaden his knowledge and find new pieces he can implement in his dancing.
Attila has been teaching and choreographing since 2012 in the styles Standard, Latin and of course more recently, Swing. โSharing my passion and knowledge with other dancers means not only teaching but also learning for myself - and it is as rewarding as it gets.โ
