FREE Thursday-night pre-party & intro lesson

If you've always wanted to learn to dance, join us on Thursday, April 22nd at 7:00PM for a FREE beginner's lesson and social at 3 Brasseurs on Sparks Street, just a 2-minute walk from the event hotel. 

After 6pm, you can park for $6 at the Impark lot, 272 Queen Street*

7:00 - 8:00 PM | Intro Lesson Ottawa’s Todd Coulthard and Jessie Breault will get you grooving to the music, connecting with your partner, and mastering essential first moves. It’s the best way to start learning to dance with a partner to popular music! 8:00 PM - Close | DJed Dance Party Enjoy an eclectic mix of music from Sabrina Carpenter to SZA, Colin James, and Frank Sinatra. Dance the night away, chat with fellow dancers, and watch amazing connections unfold.  This is FREE and open to the public! If you have not purchased a full weekend pass to Swing in Bloom, you will be required to sign a liability waiver and agree to respect our Code of Conduct.

Sunday-night after-party

No ballroom? No problem! We’ll be back at 3 Brasseurs on Sparks Street on Sunday night for our favourite part of any weekend event – the connection and farewells that happen among a group of exhausted and celebratory West Coast Swing dancers.

The after-party is included in the full weekend event pass, or just $20 if you want to drop in!
