Areez Gangji (he/him) is the event director at Swing in Bloom. He's also a founding member and the treasurer of the Rideau Swing Collective. Areez was introduced to West Coast Swing by Todd Coulthard in 2014. He believes West Coast Swing is at its best when everyone feels welcome, safe, and free to express themselves. In all of his event organizing and community support, Areez aims to bring people together on and off the dance floor.
