Areez Gangji πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Areez Gangji (he/him) is event director at Swing in Bloom. With a background in economics, business, marketing, and project management, he's also a founding member and the treasurer of the Rideau Swing Collective. Areez was introduced to west coast swing in Ottawa by Todd Coulthard in 2014. He believes West Coast Swing is at its best when everyone feels welcome, safe, and free to express themselves. Areez is driven by love and care for the community and aims to bring people together on and off the dance floor.Β

When he’s not organizing or dancing, Areez is likely to be found lifting very heavy things or baking unbelievably delicious snacks, which he shares generously.
