Bensun Fong (he/him) is the Artist Liaison for Swing in Bloom. An Ottawa native and West Coast Swing dancer since 2017. He is proud to be a part of the WCS community in Toronto where he now volunteers and helps with community building. He brings years of engagement, project management, and conference-logistics experience from the world of science advocacy, as a staff member of the Canadian Association of Science Centres (including ScienceUpFirst and Science Literacy Week), COVID-19 Resources Canada, and VoteScience.ca, as well as an elected term on the Board of the Canadian Society of Molecular Biosciences. Professionally, Bensun is a Scientist with a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine, currently employed as a Senior Developer, as well as a small-business owner. He lives in Toronto with his wife and dog.
