Originally from Northern California, Sean McKeever (he/him) and Alyssa McKeever, formerly Glanville (she/her), have established themselves as one of the most dominant and influential partnerships in the global West Coast Swing community. Both dancers began their journeys as teenagers in the same youth ballroom program—where they famously shared a friendly rivalry over Sean's background in West Coast Swing and Alyssa's dedication to Lindy Hop—before building highly successful individual careers on the competitive circuit. They officially joined forces as a professional partnership in 2022 (later marrying in August 2023), blending their creative choreography, deep musicality, and distinct individual styles. Their rapid rise as a couple culminated in a monumental 2025 competitive season where they clinched the prestigious Open World Swing Dance Championships Classic Division title, alongside taking top honors on the NASDE Tour and at the USA Grand Nationals Championship. Now inducted into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame, the McKeevers travel full-time as globally sought-after instructors, judges, and innovators, pushing the evolution of the dance forward through their workshops, choreography, and comprehensive online training platforms.
